As a socially responsible company, the Elevator and Escalator Division of Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. is proud to support the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. 45 employees recently volunteered their time, talent and energy at an employee event sprucing up the Zoo.
They spent time in three separate areas cleaning, gardening, and painting. The afternoon was a success for participants and the Nashville Zoo alike. A combined $15,000 was donated through the Elevator and Escalator Division’s partnership with the Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation (MEAF).
“We’re grateful to all of our employees who support nonprofit causes where we live and work through volunteering,” said Margie Harvey, director of marketing and corporate social responsibility, Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. Elevator and Escalator Division. “Our entire team appreciates the Nashville Zoo for the amazing opportunity. The event was a great bonding activity for all who participated.

The Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is a progressive and dynamic zoological park located six miles south of downtown Nashville.
