Business Wire.- Sole Source Capital LLC, an industrial-focused private equity firm, today announced that its portfolio company, Supply Chain Services (“SCS”), a leading full life-cycle system integrator and provider of digital supply chain, retail and mobile workforce solutions, has acquired Access POS. This is Sole Source’s fifth add-on transaction for SCS, following the purchases of Dasco Label, Miles Data, Coridian and ISG Technologies since acquiring SCS in May 2020. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Access POS is a provider of Automatic Identification and Data Collection (“AIDC”) hardware and repair & maintenance services to the warehouse logistics, retail, and grocery end markets. The company primarily focuses on small- and medium-sized businesses and provides service offerings tailored to AIDC hardware used in warehouse and distribution centers. Access POS was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Eagan, MN.
Supply Chain Services delivers innovative, automated data collection solutions to nearly 3,000 customers, providing critical technology that allows businesses to become more efficient and responsive. Through the acquisition of Access POS, Supply Chain Services will expand its repair & maintenance service capabilities and benefit from significant cross-selling opportunities across a broader customer base.
